Mouldings are machined to drawing — straight runs, arcs, chamfers and grooves all cut on the machine. That makes workability the key criterion: even structure, no hidden cracks or colour patches, or the narrow sections chip during machining. Mouldings are small in section and long in length, so how many linear metres come out of one block matters. Send the section drawing and the total length together when ordering.
